4th of July in Park Forest: Here’s the Lineup

Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Round up the whole family and celebrate 4th of July at Central Park on Sunday, July 4. The scheduled events are:

  • 5 p.m. Children’s area opens with inflatable and temporary tattoos.
  • 6 p.m. July 4th Parade kicks off from North Orchard near the Aqua Center. The parade route provides plenty of opportunity for viewing, as the parade winds its way around Central Park, Orchard to Westwood, to Lakewood and back to Orchard.
  • 7 p.m. FREE concert by BBI on the main stage in Central Park. BBI lays down the classics from Motown, R&B, rock and roll, to current dance hits.
  • 9:15 p.m. Fireworks begin at Central Park following the concert.

And don’t forget to decorate your home this 4th of July. Show your patriotism and pride this 4th of July by decorating your home in red, white and blue. As a village originally built for servicemen returning from war, all in Park Forest are encouraged to honor our history and celebrate our independence by decorating.
