University Park, Illinois—(ENEWSPF)–October 16, 2013 — The Veterans Writing Group at Governors State University will host a reception and oral reading on November 5, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in E-Lounge on the GSU campus. The reception and presentations are free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome.
Veterans representing every U.S. war since World War II will share their personal narratives, short stories, and reflections. A Q&A will follow. The reception is sponsored by the Intellectual Life Committee and supported by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences.
