Park Forest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Forest Trail School in Park Forest-Chicago Heights School District 163 recently held National Junior Honor Society induction ceremonies for its seventh and eighth grade students.

In order to qualify for the NJHS, students must have a 3.5 GPA (grade point average) for all four quarters and no discipline referrals. The students are nominated by their seventh grade teachers and complete an activity log prior to induction. The NJHS members are required to maintain their GPA and behavior and complete 10 hours of community service per quarter.
