SPRINGFIELD–(ENEWSPF)–October 8, 2014. Approximately 6,300 citizens have started the patient registration process for the Illinois Medical Cannabis Pilot Program since the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) began accepting applications on September 2, 2014. Of those, IDPH has received approximately 800 complete applications. IDPH began issuing approval and denial letters two weeks ago.
