Activists Force Shell’s Hand As Fennica Returns To Port
Portland, OR –(ENEWSPF)–July 30, 2015. Early this morning, Shell Oil’s icebreaker Fennica attempted to depart Portland on its way to the Arctic so Shell could begin risky drilling this summer. Due to the brave actions by 13 Greenpeace activists suspended from the St Johns Bridge and the dozens of ‘kayaktivists’ in the water, the Fennica was unable to leave.
