Chicago —(ENEWSPF)—February 11, 2016. Attorney General Lisa Madigan today announced a settlement with Dallas-based MoneyGram Payment Systems Inc. resolving a multistate investigation that focused on complaints from consumers who used MoneyGram’s wire transfer service to send money to third parties involved in schemes to defraud consumers. Madigan’s office was one of eight states leading settlement negotiations on behalf of 49 states and the District of Columbia.
