Illinois agencies that regulate gaming in Illinois recognize that for some people the fun and excitement of winning a little extra money at the races, casinos, or by playing the lottery can become unhealthy. But, it may be difficult to tell in some cases whether or not someone simply enjoys gambling, or if they have an actual problem.
