Universal Hi Protein bars because they may contain undeclared peanuts due to possible peanut allergen cross-contamination and may be missing the allergy alert, âMade on equipment that also processes soy, milk, egg, peanuts and tree nutsâ or âThis product may contain traces of nutsâ. The allergy alert statement would be found at the end or of the Ingredients list or immediately prior to the Ingredients list. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. Anyone with an allergy to peanuts is recommended not to consume these products.
