Suffocation, Entrapment Risks Prompt Recall of PeaPod Travel Tents by KidCo

WASHINGTON, D.C.–(ENEWSPF)–November 16, 2012. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with KidCo Inc., of Libertyville, IL, is announcing the voluntary recall today of about 220,000 PeaPod and PeaPod Plus Travel Beds.

Infants and young children can roll off the edge of the inflatable air mattress, become entrapped between the mattress and the fabric sides of the tent, and suffocate.

CPSC is aware of a death of a 5-month-old boy in December 2011…
