JOLIET—(ENEWSPF)—February 21, 2013. Judge Edward Burmila has sentenced Drew Peterson to serve 38 years in prison for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio. The judge denied Peterson’s request for a retrial early today and went directly into the sentencing hearing.
