78-year-old Man in Train/Car Crash Released from Hospital

Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Park Forest man whose car was totaled by a Canadian National train Saturday was released from Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. A hospital spokesperson confirmed that the man had been examined and released in fair condition.

A previous report from the hospital indicated the man was in serious condition, but the hospital spokesperson today said that was not the case.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by Park Forest Police and representatives from the Canadian National Railroad.
