Adult Summer Reading and Pet Adoption Day at the Park Forest Public Library

Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Summer reading isn’t just for kids.  Adults may sign up for their own summer reading program starting June 8th at the Park Forest Public Library.  The program is easy: sign up, read books, get prizes.  Books do not have to be library books, and audio books count, too.  Prizes are awarded for reading 4, 8, and 12 books.  Adult Summer Reading ends on July 31st.

Stop by the library on June 13th, 11 am – 2 pm for Pet Adoption Day, sponsored by the South Suburban Humane Society.  The Park Forest Police Department will give a canine demonstration at 12:30 pm.  Look for all the excitement on the library’s front lawn.
