Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Local artist Jesus Rodriguez comes to town this Saturday, January 17.

Rodriguez is the artists responsible for the recently unveiled DownTown mural. He has done numerous other murals in the area, in addition to other forms of artistic expression. During the hour-long workshop, those in attendance will observe a still piece of painted wood and then replicate it on paper. The exercise will be followed by a slideshow of his work, including murals, tattoos, and paintings.

Are you tired of being indoors this season? Looking for some fun close to home? Join us this year at the Illinois Theatre Center every Saturday morning in January from 10:30 am to 11:30 am for the Aspire Series.

This FREE series of presentations has been created to encourage the next generation of artists and to provide a source of entertainment for those who may or may not be artistic, but enjoy the arts. Through interactive workshops that demonstrate artistic and cultural expression in various forms, Aspire strives to inspire both young and old.
