Cook County, IL–(ENEWSPF)– According to unofficial township and precinct level election results for suburban Cook County, Cheryle Jackson edged Alexi Giannoulias by six votes for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate in Rich Township. Jackson captured 4,958 votes, or 41.02%, to 4,652 votes, or 40.97%, taken by Giannoulias. Giannoulias dominated in Bloom Township with 4,512 votes, or 43.86%, to 3,187, or 30.98% taken by Jackson.
