Chicago to Serve as a Host for Sweet 16 and Elite Eight in 2016
CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–November 17, 2014. Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced today that Chicago has been named the host site for the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship regional. The NCAA made the announcement today on all sites for the tournament. The Big Ten Conference will serve as the official host of the event in collaboration with the Chicago Sports Commission and the United Center.
