Today, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) announced that the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) to Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg and Mount Prospect in the amounts of $251,367.00, $307,536.00 and $271,504.00 respectively.
The Community Development Block Grant program provides funding to state and local governments for various community needs like affordable housing and expanded economic opportunities.
