On Wednesday, January 30th, Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-8) met with members of the Illinois Road and Transportation Builders Association in her Schaumburg, Illinois office. Congresswoman Duckworth has made investing in transportation and infrastructure a top priority for the 8th Congressional District. Last week, Duckworth and Senator Dick Durbin announced approval of an agreement to begin construction on the Elgin-O’Hare Western Access project. The project is expected to create 65,000 direct and indirect jobs by 2040.
