Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— District 163 released agendas today for two meetings scheduled for Monday, July 16: the Policy Committee will meet at 7 p.m., and a special session of the entire Board of Education will convene following the Policy Committee Meeting.
Some of the items to be discussed by th Policy Committee include fundraising, "Harassment – Students," administration of medication, out of school suspension regulation, and expulsion procedures.
The special session includes the development of district goals for the 2007-2008 school year a motion to go to closed session via the following suggested motion:
"BE IT HEREBY MOVED that the Board of Education go into Closed Session to discuss information regarding appointment, employment or dismissal of an employee or officer, contracts, grievances, negotiations, the sale of real estate, student concerns, pending, threatened, or imminent litigation, Superintendent’s evaluation, or Board/Superintendent goals/concerns."
The meetings are held at the District Office, 242 South Orchard Drive, and both agendas include time for public comment.
