eNewsPF Celebrates First Year – Inland Press Association Membership


Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— eNews Park Forest Publisher Gary Kopycinski has been accepted for membership in the Inland Press Association. Kopycinski learned of the unanimous decision of the Inland Board of Directors while attending an opening reception for the organization’s 122nd Annual Meeting in Chicago Sunday.

eNews Park Forest is the first online-only publication to be accepted by Inland.

"This is an incredible honor," Kopycinski said. "As eNews Park Forest begins its second year, we renew our commitment to bring high quality, community-based journalism to the Park Forest area."

The Inland Press Association is based in Des Plaines, IL, and was founded in 1885. It is a not-for-profit organization owned by its member newspapers and operated by a volunteer board. According to InlandPress.org, Inland has more than 1,200 daily and weekly newspaper members in all 50 states, Canada and Bermuda. The Inland Press Foundation assists with continuing education programs for newspaper managers and employees.
