Evicted Homeowners, Labor and Housing Groups Demand Change in Loan, Mortgage Foreclosure Policies

Chicago, IL—(ENEWSPF)—August 20, 2013. Challenging the conventional narrative of a housing market recovery, labor unions and community groups from across the Midwest will gather in downtown Chicago to launch their push to change the lending and mortgage foreclosure policies of Bank of America and Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. These groups allege that as the nation’s largest home mortgage servicer and the largest home mortgage investors, these companies continue to rely on policies that drag down already struggling neighborhoods.
