Congresswoman Robin Kelly announced today that the Homewood Fire Department was awarded a $1.8 million federal grant that will benefit 18 south suburban fire departments. Homewood applied for the grant on behalf of the region’s joint dispatch center and was supported in its efforts by Congresswoman Robin Kelly.
