Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)— This Wednesday is the 4th of July. The Village of Park Forest parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. forming on N. Orchard just north of the Aqua Center, traveling west on Westwood, and east on Lakewood Blvd., ending at Freedom Hall. Fireworks will fill the skies over Central Park shortly after 9:00 p.m.

We encourage all residents to fly the flag this week at their homes in honor of our final adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress, the birth of our nation.

As a small business, and a new one, one of our biggest challenges in this venture has been letting people know eNews Park Forest exists.  Once people find the site, they like it, and really appreciate the fact that we have good, local coverage of news and events in Park Forest.

So, writers, staff, and supporters of eNews Park Forest will also march in the parade this Wednesday. Among other things, we celebrate the First Amendment, Freedom of the Press, which allows us to help tell the story of Park Forest, IL.

We look forward to meeting you along the parade route.
