CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–April 4, 2011. Governor Pat Quinn today announced the state has taken several actions to ensure it is well prepared for the possibility of severe flooding this spring. Officials continue to closely monitor several Illinois waterways, after snow melt and spring rains have contributed to rising water levels.
