ILLINOIS—(ENEWSPF)—August 31, 2013. Congresswoman Robin Kelly provided constituents with valuable information on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) during a Town Hall meeting Thursday at the Mary Magdalene M.B. Church in Chicago. Experts explained the new federal health care law and how it benefits individuals and families. Participants also learned about the Illinois Marketplace and what the ACA means for small businesses.
“The purpose of this informational forum and others I’m hosting is to familiarize people with the ABCs of the Affordable Care Act,” Congresswoman Kelly said. “We are explaining the registration process and reviewing some of the benefits they will be receiving.”
Congresswoman Kelly will host two more ACA informational forums:
September 16, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of University Park, 450 University Parkway.
September 23, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Kankakee Public Library, 201 E. Merchant St.
