Washington, D.C.–(ENEWSPF)– The Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, today condemned the comments of Colorado State Senator Scott Renfroe in which he compared homosexuality with murder. At the same time, HRC urged the Colorado legislature to reject such hate speech and move forward on a bill that would extend healthcare benefits to same sex partners of state workers.
