Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—July 28, 2014. The 4th Annual Hummingbird Festival will be held on Saturday, August 16 from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Park Forest Discovery Center, 30 North Orchard (located next to the Park Forest Aqua Center).
Here’s your chance to see Ruby-throated Hummingbirds at close range and even “adopt” one. Vernon Kleen, avian ecologist, will capture and band the “Hummers” before releasing them.
