Illinois Pension Reform Law Ruled Unconstitutional
A Sangamon County Circuit Court judge ruled before Thanksgiving that an Illinois law aimed at easing the state’s unfunded pension liability is unconstitutional, handing a victory to labor unions and state retirees who challenged the law.
