Chicago, IL–(ENEWSPF)– Center on Halsted, (in partnership with The Joffrey Ballet) will present “danceOUT”, an intimate conversation with world-renowned choreographer Lar Lubovitch on September 21 at 7PM. Center on Halsted is located at 3656 N. Halsted in Chicago.
danceOUT is Center on Halsted’s season-long series of intimate conversations with world-renowned dancers, choreographers, directors, designers and more, all presenting their lives and their work “up close and personal.”
Chicago born choreographer Lar Lubovitch has been hailed by The New York Times as “one of the ten best choreographers in the world.” The Joffrey Ballet will premiere Othello, Shakespeare’s classic tale of passion, jealousy, ambition and betrayal (October 14-25). Lubovitch’s compelling synthesis of classical and modern movement is heightened by a powerful score from Academy Award-winning composer Elliot Goldenthal.
