Park Forest, Ill.—(ENEWSPF)—August 19, 2014. Church of the Holy Family, located at 102 Marquette Street (Sauk Trail and Orchard) in Park Forest, will host its Second Annual Open House and Health Fair on Saturday, September 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Church is inviting the community out for free food, fun and fellowship! Parents are encouraged to bring their children for free school supplies, pony rides and the Game Truck, a mobile arcade. Attendees can unwind with massages from Health on Earth Wellness Centers, and seniors can enjoy activities like BINGO and arts and crafts.
The open house includes registration of youth ministry programs like the Girls Scouts and upcoming Cubs Scouts program.
Vendors will be on site with giveaways and health literature.The health fair will include dental exams for children and blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetic screenings for adults. Walgreens will also provide flu shots. All wellness screenings are free. Please bring Medicaid or dental insurance cards for children’s dental screenings offered by Smile Illinois.
