CHICAGO —(ENEWSPF)–June 21, 2016. The Civil Rights Division of the United States Department of Justice, along with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, are conducting a civil pattern or practice investigation into the Chicago Police Department. As part of the investigation, officials will be hosting public forums to provide information about the investigative process, and to offer time for community members to share their experiences with policing in Chicago.
