Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—January 22, 2012. The Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Dr., Park Forest, will screen the movie ‘Earth: The Operator’s Manual’ on Saturday, January 28 at 7 p.m. A discussion led by Jeff Green will follow the movie.
Things that are important to us, like cars and computers, come with manuals. So why not a manual for the most complex operating system of all – the Earth? Is the planet due for an oil change? What do we need to do to keep Earth operating at peak performance? These are some of the questions addressed in ‘Earth: The Operator’s Manual.’ This film, shown on PBS, will leave you amazed at the beauty and bounty of the planet, inspired by human ingenuity, and optimistic about the future.
Coffee, tea, and popcorn will be served. You may bring a snack to share if you wish.
