Austin –(ENEWSPF)–February 19, 2015. Today Suzanne Bryant and Sarah Goodfriend became the first same-sex couple to legally marry in Texas. They received their marriage license from Travis County Clerk Dana DeBeauvoir in Austin, accompanied by their two daughters. The news follows an order on Tuesday from State Judge Guy Herman in which he struck down Texas’ ban on marriage between same-sex couples.
