Washington, D.C.–(ENEWSPF)–The Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization, announced today the endorsement of Providence Mayor David Cicilline (D) in the 2010 U.S. House race for Rhode Island’s 1st Congressional District. Cicilline is seeking the seat of U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy, who recently announced he will retire and not seek re-election.
