Job Fair to be Held in Park Forest on March 6


Employers from Education, Finance, Health Care, Retail, Service, Transportation and Utility Industries to Participate

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—March 1, 2012.  The National Congress of Black Women, Metro Chicago Chapter (NCBW-MCC) and the Village of Park Forest will host a job fair on Tuesday, March 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 300 Victory Drive, Park Forest.

Amtrak, ComEd, Fifth 3rd Bank, Walmart, the Park Forest Fire Department, Pace Suburban Bus Services and the Illinois Department of Employment Security are among the dozens of participating employers who will be meeting face-to-face with job seekers.

The job fair is open to the public.  Job seekers are advised to come prepared to discuss employment opportunities with employers.  Job seekers are also advised to bring multiple copies of their resume.

The National Congress of Black Women, founded in 1984 is a non-profit organization dedicated to the educational, political, economic and cultural development of African-American Women and their families.  The Metro Chicago Chapter (NCBW-MCC) was established in 2009.
