Kentucky Attorney General Won’t Appeal Marriage Ruling

New York–(ENEWSPF)–March 4, 2014.  Today attorney general Jack Conway of Kentucky said he won’t appeal an order by a federal judge to respect the marriages of same-sex couples legally performed in other states. U.S. District Judge John G. Heyburn II was appointed by President George H. W. Bush in 1992, on the recommendation of current Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
