The Park Forest Library, 400 Lakewood Boulevard has announced the topics for its fall 2017 Potpourri of Lecture Series. The Lectures will take place on Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in the Library’s Ringering Room.
Scheduled Lectures:
• November 30th – “Climate Change & Biodiversity Loss,” presented by Victoria Wittig, PhD, Acquisitions Outreach Specialist, Park Forest Public Library and Adjunct Professor of Biology, Prairie State College
• December 7th – “The History of U.S.-Cuban Relations,” by Dr. Ellen Walsh, PhD, Assistant Professor of History & Social Sciences, Governors State University
In addition to the lectures, on December 14th the South Suburban Dulcimer and Folk Music Society will perform holiday and other seasonal songs.
