The Senate voted yesterday to block consideration of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a bill that included two key civil liberties provisions: repeal of the discriminatory “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy and repeal of the current ban on privately funded abortion care on military bases.
