Southeast Side Town Hall Meeting on March 6 to Discuss Petcoke Ordninance


CHICAGO—(ENEWSPF)—March 6, 2014. Hundreds of Southeast Side residents will gather tonight at the East Side Methodist Church, 1100 S. Ewing Ave., Chicago, for a community-led town hall meeting to discuss the pending petcoke ordinance and decide next steps in the campaign to kick the Koch Brothers and their petcoke out of Chicago, once and for all. The Town Hall will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The Town hall meeting is sponsored by the Southeast Environmental Taskforce, the Southeast Side Coalition to Ban Petcoke, the Environmental Justice Alliance, Centro Communitario Juan Diego, and System Change Not Climate Change.
