Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago Offering Lectures at Freedom Hall


Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– The Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago invites the residents of the Southland Area to a series of six study group lectures presented throughout the next several months. The first program is "An Artist at Work" presented by Phyllis Kozlowski, Artist. This lecture will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Freedom Hall, 410 Lakewood, Park Forest, IL. Please note this event will be held on the second floor. There is no elevator. This is the only presentation on the second floor. 

Future programs will be "Installation Art featuring Louise Bourgeois" by Hertha Pacola, Lecturer of Orland Park on November 17, 2010. February 2, 2011 features a lecture,"Treasures of China" by Dr. Arthur Bourgeois, Lecturer. A presentation of "Governor’s State University Sculpture Park: Museum in the Prairie" by Lecturer Geoffrey Bates is scheduled for February 16, 2011.

A March 2nd lecture will be presented on the topic,"Mont Saint-Michel and Chartres" by Stanley and Janice Moore, Lecturers. "Post Impressionists in Provence" is the topic for lecturers, Louis and Ruth Foster and is scheduled for March 16,2011.
