Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—April 27, 2012. ‘The Forgotten Bomb’ will be screened on Saturday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest. The screening will be followed by a discussion.
‘The Forgotten Bomb’ examines the political and legal implications of nuclear weapons, exploring why we have the bomb, the cultural and psychological reasons behind the arsenal’s existence, and how we might finally do away with it. This film is very timely as Israel considers bombing Iran’s nuclear sites, possibly drawing us into another war.
The event is free and open to the public. Free coffee, tea and popcorn will be provided. Optional donations will be accepted.
