Thorn Creek Audubon Society’s Bat Program Coming to Freedom Hall

Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—March 9, 2012.  Plan on coming to the Thorn Creek Audubon Society’s Special Presentation for an up-close look at some of the world’s most misunderstood animals — bats.

The Organization for Bat Conservation will bring several species of bats. Included will be the Egyptian Fruit Bat, the Jamaican Leaf-nosed Bat and the Big Brown Bat which is native to Illinois. We will learn about the important role bats play in our environment as well as the common myths about these animals.

The program will be at 7pm on April 4th at Freedom Hall of Park Forest, 410 Lakewood Blvd., Park Forest, IL, 60466. Refreshments will be served.

A donation of $5 is suggested to defray the expense of bringing this special program from Michigan.
