Upcoming Celebrity Golf Outing benefits Good Shepherd Center

Hazel Crest, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Former Chicago Bear legends Steve “Mongo” McMichael and Doug Buffone will host Good Shepherd Center’s Third Annual Golf Outing on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the beautiful Ravisloe Country Club in Homewood, Il. The driving range opens at 8:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m.  McMichael and Buffone will mingle and entertain guests at the Celebrity Circle Buffet Reception where unique items will be auctioned off in a live auction. A silent auction will also take place with many items and tickets from all the local Chicago sports teams as well as a variety of things from electronics to entertainment.        

The cost to participate is only $130 per golfer, this includes 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, hotdog snack on course, and buffet in Celebrity Circle Reception with silent and live auctions. Hole Sponsors are available for $150 or Hole Sponsor and foursome for $600. Celebrity Sponsorships are also available and include golfing with celebrities.

Ravisloe Country Club is one of the ten oldest golf courses in the State, designed by a virtual “Dream Team” of golf architects, including the legendary Donald Ross and esteemed Dave Esler.

One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit Good Shepherd Center, a non-profit 501 c (3) organization that has been serving individuals with disabilities and their families since 1963. Located in Hazel Crest, Good Shepherd Center’s large service area covers all of south suburban Cook and northern Will counties. Good Shepherd Center provides various pediatric therapies, in-home respite care, daycare support and childcare trainings and community resources.
