Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—February 7, 2014. The Unitarian Universalist Community Church (UUCC), 70 Sycamore Drive, Park Forest, will screen the movie ‘What if Cannabis Cured Cancer?’ on Friday, February 28. The event will begin with an optional vegetarian potluck dinner at 6 p.m. The movie screening will begin at 7 p.m. with a discussion following the film.
This documentary is a powerful and eye-opening film summarizing remarkable research findings of recent years about the cancer-protective effects of novel compounds in marijuana. This film brings to light recent findings that have potentially game-changing implications for the future of cannabis as a medicine and perhaps even the future of medicine.
The event is free and open to the public. Coffee, tea and popcorn will be provided. Bring a vegetarian dish to share at the potluck. Optional donations will be gratefully accepted.
