Park Forest, IL—(ENEWSPF)—November 14, 2011. The Village of Park Forest has a legacy of living and growing sustainably. Now, the Village is building on past efforts to create a sustainability plan and needs to hear from you.
Moe than 160 people participated in the first set of public kick-off meetings, held in July. At those meetings, we heard about long-term goals and a sustainable vision for Park Forest. Now it is time to prioritize goals and identify strategies to make this vision a reality.
Please join us on Wednesday, November 30 at 7 p.m. at Dining on the Green Banquet Hall, 349 Main St., Park Forest, and share your thoughts on transportation options, local food, energy efficient homes, and more. We will feature an interactive web-based tool to help gather your preferences on how to implement sustainability in the Village.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served at 6:30 p.m. Bring your friends, family and neighbors. Everyone is welcome.
