CHICAGO—(ENEWSPF)—August 6, 2013. After an intensive protest in front of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Hunger strikers were successful in meeting with a representative of the administration. Northwestern Memorial agreed to participate in an ongoing dialogue with the hunger strikers and other hospitals, especially Rush Medical Center and University of Illinois Medical Center, in order to address the demands of the strikers.
