CHICAGO—(ENEWSPF)—August 8, 2016. Jason Gonzales, the man who challenged Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan in the Democratic primary this year and lost has filed a federal lawsuit against Madigan, accusing him of fraud and defamation. Gonzales received about 27 percent of the vote in the Democratic primary this past March, while Madigan received 65 percent.
