Park Forest, IL–(ENEWSPF)– An unidentified subject stole a purse from a woman returning to her home shortly after 10 p.m. one night last week.
A resident told police she was returning to her home in the first block in of Dogwood last Monday, October 20, when she was attacked from behind.
According to the resident, shortly after 10 p.m., the she parked her vehicle in her designated parking space and then walked to the door of her residence. She related that she had her house keys in her hand and approached the door.
As she attempted to put her house key into the lock, she reported that she was pushed from behind by a subject who then grabbed her purse.
Police continue to investigate.
