Chicago Heights, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Since the middle 1990s, Marian Catholic has been very fortunate to be blessed with the presence and influence of Drew, Valerie, and the entire Middleton family.

Bringing her talents from St. Liborius in Steger, Ill.

When her four young sons, Erick ’98, Roderick ’01, Cedrick ’03 and Derrick ’07, moved on to Marian Catholic, Val arrived on the scene for the Spartans as a parent, Booster Club supporter and eventually coordinator of the Marian Catholic concession stands. Through the years, while many have been accustomed to a friendly face and great service, Marian Catholic has come to know Val possessing a tremendous work ethic, consistency in service and the tender loving care that make Marian Catholic’s concession stands and Athletic awards nights special for all who attend.

In all that Val does in representing the Spartans, even well beyond the best popcorn in the East Suburban Catholic Conference, she makes Marian Catholic very proud.

To acknowledge all of the great things the Middleton family has provided for the school, and the friendly hospitality of which so many are aware of at the Marian Catholic concessions stands, Marian Catholic permanently named the Marian Catholic Concession stands in honor of Val and her family.

Val was presented with a plaque during halftime of the Men’s Basketball game on Friday, November 30, and a permanent plaque was placed on the wall outside of the concession stand in Marian Catholic’s West Gym Lobby.
