City defends law that protects youth from the sale of flavored tobacco near schools
CHICAGO–(ENEWSPF)–November 3, 2014. Mayor Rahm Emanuel today announced that he will aggressively fight two temporary restraining orders newly filed by local tobacco industry vendors against a city ordinance passed last year prohibiting the sale of flavored tobacco within 500 feet of a school. The temporary restraining order motion will be argued in Federal Court on Tuesday.
