Chicago, IL-(ENEWSPF)- Voters in 37 precincts in suburban Cook County will have a new polling place for the April 7 Consolidated Election, Cook County Clerk David Orr announced Thursday.
There are 1,673 precincts in suburban Cook County and more than 1,000 polling places. While polling places are primarily public buildings, they can change for a variety of reasons, such as safety issues, construction projects or space constraints.
Households impacted by these changes will receive a postcard like the images at right.
The list below provides the precinct number by township and the name and address of the new polling place.
